Twelve members of the ����ֱ�� women's ice hockey team were named 2025-26 Krampade All-American Scholars by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA), as announced by the organization.

Olivia Boyer '26, Jordan Brady '28, Livia Brooks '27, Madison Brunet '29, Geena Cookinham '29, Natalie Heutmaker '29, Maggie Hunter '29, Alex Leslie '28, Marja Linzbichler '27, Rylie McIntyre '26, Dana Rigan '29, and Lauren Tuzik '26 represented Norwich among this year's honorees.

The AHCA recognized 994 NCAA Division II-III men's and women's hockey student-athletes as Krampade All-American Scholars for the 2025-26 season, including 550 men's honorees and 444 women's honorees.

To qualify, student-athletes must attain a 3.75 grade-point average for each semester and appear in at least 40 percent of their team's games. Exceptions are granted for injured players and backup goaltenders, while schools must also be members of the AHCA.

Norwich was especially well-represented among student-athletes who combined AHCA Krampade All-American Scholar recognition with national on-ice honors. Brooks and Hunter were both AHCA First Team All-Americans, while Brunet earned AHCA Third Team All-American honors after anchoring the Cadets in goal.

Brooks continued her historic career with her third All-American selection, becoming just the second three-time All-American in program history. Hunter made an immediate impact in her first collegiate season, earning All-American recognition as one of the top rookie defensemen in Division III. Brunet became the first goaltender in program history to earn All-American honors after setting a new single-season program record with nine shutouts.

The AHCA academic honor follows another recent classroom distinction for the Cadets, who received the Little East Conference (LEC) Team Academic Award for women's ice hockey with a 3.69 team GPA and placed 22 student-athletes on the LEC Academic Honor Roll for the Spring 2026 semester.

Norwich matched that academic success with one of the most accomplished seasons in program history. In Head Coach Justin Simpson's first season behind the bench, the Cadets finished 26-3 overall, went undefeated in Little East Conference play, captured both the inaugural LEC regular season and tournament championships, and advanced to the NCAA Division III Frozen Four for the first time since 2018.

The Cadets defeated Hamline University, 1-0, in the NCAA Quarterfinals at Kreitzberg Arena before falling to Nazareth University, 5-4, in overtime in the national semifinals. Norwich also produced several major individual honors during the season, including LEC Player of the Year recognition for Brooks, LEC Rookie of the Year honors for Hunter, and NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete honors for Leslie at the national championship site.

The AHCA Krampade All-American Scholar selections add to a season in which Norwich earned recognition nationally, regionally, and within the LEC for both its academic performance and championship success.
